Philadelphia Airport is the closest major airport, about 115 miles from Rehoboth Beach, Baltimore Airport is second best and is about 125 miles. The turf fields in Fredrica Delaware are about 35 minutes from Rehoboth.
Where to Stay
Rehoboth and Dewey Beach are only a few miles away from each other. There is a seasonal trolley between the beach towns which is a great way to travel to avoid traffic.
We stay with family on the Bay side
A friend stayed at the Bellmore Inn and Spa which had a great location and very friendly service, nice lobby, but the rooms were dated and the carpet was old. The pool area was only okay. Next time they may opt for Coast Rehoboth Beach by Hilton or VRBO/ Airbnb. There are a lot of vacation homes and rentals in Rehoboth and Dewey.
Other friends always stay at the renovated Hyatt Place at Dewey Beach. It sits on the bay and a block from the beach, close to restaurants and beach activities.
If going primarily for lacrosse and loyal to Bonvoy properties, the Residence Inn in Rehoboth is a good easy bet. It avoids some of the traffic, close to fast food and grocery stores for hungry lax players, and easy to drive or uber into town for dinner, beach and shopping.
