Where to Stay
Loved Fouquet’s New York especially for a girls trip. Fun frenchy vibe, rooms big enough to walk around in, location close to Soho, Tribeca, West Village and running path and super chic hidden lobby bar.
Also recommend
- The Ludlow (LES) — smaller rooms.
- The Crosby (Soho)
- The Marlton— great location and cozy feel but very small rooms.
On the list for next time–
- Nine Orchard (LES)
- The Greenwich Hotel (Tribeca)
- Warren Street Hotel (Tribeca)
Where to Eat and Drink
- Bobo NYC- Fun frenchy & young, great food. We loved it!
- Cafe Cluny– We are repeat customers at this neighborhood bistro.
- Raouls– Dark, traditional steakhouse vibes with an infusion of cool. Always good.
- Balthazar – For brunch or lunch between shops!
- Birdies— Fro-yo is BACK and this place is an Instagramable moment for sure.
- Titsou– The bar at Fouquets. The hidden door takes the cake.

- Shop (or just explore) the museum like Printemps department store downtown. Have a coffee in the cafe. Very close to the Wall Street action so fun to take this in as well.
- Take a class at The Practice Room or SLT or both!
- Go to a Broadway play.
- Visit The 9/11 Memorial & Museum
- Visit The Whitney
- Shop!! Current favorites for mom and daughter: Still Here, Kirna Zabete, Sezane, With Jean, Blue & Cream, Suzi Kondi, Kallmeyer, Ulla Johnnson, Bergdorfs (esp for shoes; requires a Taxi ride or a long walk from Soho area)
